01 Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MyAuram app and website, operated by Athel ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use MyAuram.

02 What MyAuram is — and is not

03 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use MyAuram. The app is designed for use in India; certain features (such as loan and SIP tracking and tax-appendix reports) reflect Indian conventions and reference rates.

04 Your account

• You sign in with Google and are responsible for keeping access to that account secure.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter — weights, purities, and details are yours to record and maintain.
• We recommend enabling the in-app PIN or biometric lock and keeping your device secure.

05 Prices & valuations

MyAuram displays gold and silver rates sourced from third-party market-data providers (referencing MCX and IBJA benchmarks). These rates are indicative and for information only. They may be delayed, rounded, or differ from the price any jeweller, bank, or exchange would actually offer. You must not rely on them for buying, selling, lending, insuring, or any financial or legal decision. We do not warrant their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

06 Subscriptions & billing

• MyAuram offers a free tier and paid Personal and Family plans. Plan features are described in the app.
• Paid plans are sold and billed exclusively through Google Play. Prices are shown at purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel any time in your Google Play account.
• Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the paid period ends.
• If we change a plan's renewal price, Google Play notifies you and, where required, asks you to accept the new price before it applies; otherwise the subscription will not renew at the higher price.
• If a plan's features change, we will describe the change in the app; your existing entitlement is honoured for the period you paid for.

07 Your data & backups

Your holdings are stored on your device and, if you choose, backed up in encrypted form to a private, app-only folder of your own Google Drive that we cannot access. This is a deliberate privacy choice, and it has a consequence: if you lose your device and your backup, or lose access to your Google account, we cannot recover or restore your data for you. Keep your backups and account access safe. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

08 Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to breach or probe our security, reverse-engineer the app, access it by automated means, interfere with other users, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or the law.

09 Intellectual property

MyAuram, the MyAuram name and logo, and the app's design, code, and content are owned by Athel and protected by law. "MyAuram™" and "Athel™" are the subject of trademark applications pending before the Registry of Trade Marks, India. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. The data you enter remains yours.

10 Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. MyAuram is an informational tool; it is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Any decision you make about your assets is your own responsibility, ideally taken with a qualified professional.

11 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Athel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profit, or the value of assets, arising from your use of or inability to use MyAuram — including reliance on displayed rates or the loss of unrecoverable backups. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12 Termination, changes & governing law

You may stop using MyAuram and delete your account at any time via the Delete account page. We may suspend or end the service, or update these Terms, and will post material changes here; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu will have jurisdiction on a non-exclusive basis, subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.
