You can delete your MyAuram account and its data at any time. This page explains the two ways to do it, exactly what is removed, and the little that is kept — and for how long — before it is permanently erased.
01 How to delete your account
Option A — In the app (fastest)
- Open MyAuram and go to Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and cloud records are deleted, your device data is cleared, and the app removes your encrypted Drive backups where it can.
Option B — By request (if you can't open the app)
Email support@myauram.com from the same email address you used to sign in, with the subject "Delete my MyAuram account". We will verify you are the account holder and complete the deletion, confirming by reply. We action verified requests promptly and within any timeframe required by law.
Deleting the app is not the same as deleting your account. Uninstalling removes the app from your phone but leaves your account and cloud records intact so you can restore later. Use one of the options above to delete the account itself.
02 What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following are removed:
- Your account and sign-in identity.
- Your subscription and entitlement records held on our servers (any active Google Play subscription should also be cancelled in Google Play).
- Your session and profile records on our servers.
- Your on-device data — holdings, photos, notes, loans, SIPs and goals — is cleared from the app.
- Your encrypted Drive backups created by the app — removed where possible; if any remain, you can delete them yourself from your Google Drive.
03 What is kept, and for how long
To meet legal, security, and refund obligations, we keep a minimal deletion record for up to 90 days after you delete your account. It exists only to confirm the deletion, prevent abuse, and honour any refund or legal requirement — and it is automatically and permanently purged once the window passes.
If you sign up again later, you start with a completely fresh account — nothing from the deleted one is restored.
04 Need help?
If you have any trouble deleting your account, or want confirmation that it's done, we're happy to help.
